When we thought about creating the new Logo for La Cava, we wanted to link the visual not just to how we want to make our wine (applying all available scientific knowhow), but also create a link to Tuscany, the Terroir and nature in general.
This is reflected directly in our Logo. It was calculated applying the equation of Fibonacci, an Italian mathematician, who lived in Pisa in Tuscany from 1170 bis 1240. In mathematics, the Fibonacci sequence is a sequence in which each number is the sum of the two preceding ones. Fibonacci sequences appear in a lot of biological settings, such as e.g. branching in trees, arrangement of leaves on stems, or for example the flowering of artichoke, and the arrangement of a pine cone. We used the equation to calculate the form of wine and olive leaves and created a superimposition to receive the mandala form of our Logo…reflecting the balance of La Cava!
